For Businesses

Reach the people who matter most.

The locals who'll come back every week. The visitors deciding where to spend their weekend. Wasatch Back Guide puts your business in front of both — right when they're choosing where to go.

The Problem

Being great isn’t enough if nobody can find you.

Locals don’t know all the good spots either

Even people who’ve lived here for years miss the bakery two towns over or the new shop downtown. Word of mouth is slow, and a lot of great businesses stay hidden in plain sight.

Visitors are overwhelmed

They’ve got a weekend and a hundred browser tabs. Buried under national chains and paid ads, the local places that would make their trip never surface.

Questions

Good questions, honest answers

Does it really cost nothing to be listed?

Yes. A basic listing is free forever — your name, category, town, hours, and a way for people to find you. Paid tiers just add visibility and tools on top. We want every good local business in the guide, budget or not.

How is this different from Google, Yelp, or TripAdvisor?

Those are global platforms where the loudest (or highest-paying) wins. We're a small, curated, local guide for one region — the Wasatch Back — built by someone who lives here. No pay-to-win rankings, no fake reviews, no race to the bottom.

Do I have to sign a contract?

No long-term contracts. Paid tiers are month-to-month — upgrade, downgrade, or cancel whenever. During the beta we’re onboarding businesses personally, so you’ll always talk to a real person.

When will paid tiers actually charge me?

Not yet. Right now you can express interest and we'll get you set up — no card required. We'll only start billing once the paid features are live and you've had a chance to see the value.

I'm not technical. Is this hard to set up?

Not at all. Tell us about your business and we'll help build your listing. If you’d rather do it yourself, the tools are simple — and we’re a message away if you get stuck.

Who actually sees my listing?

Locals rediscovering the valley and visitors planning trips — the people most likely to walk through your door. We share the guide in Wasatch Back community groups and grow it the honest way, one neighbor at a time.
